Peyton heads to a mountain resort to cure her writer's block and runs right into her muse... Maverick.
Oh, I love a good vacation romance. Peyton trying to let her creative juices flow and relax herself was the perfect plot for this gorgeous backdrop of a black owned, family run resort. I loved the environment the author created and loved how Peyton felt at home and fit in there. Maverick was a walking dream and I loved the way he catered to Peyton. Even with hesitance, the two of them couldn't hide their feelings and didn't try and I loved that as well. The wedding was a great way to loop Maverick's family into the story and I was glad to have them and Peyton's bestie as supporting cast. Maverick flexing and defending her made this already sexy couple even more sexy and the passion was a testament to what I love about this author. Great work.
