Shopaholic to the Stars by Sophie Kinsella

3.0

I accidentally skipped a few books in the series, so I have missed some of the downfall of Becky Bloomwood. It's painfully obvious in this one that our favorite shopaholic is now a one-dimensional, barely redemptive character. I still liked the book and I still like Kinsella's style because there are days where you just want an easy, fun, familiar book to read. I think I'm out growing the ridiculousness of Becky, though. I'll go back and read the ones I've missed, and I'll read the next Shopaholic book (because this one ends on a cliffhanger), but after that I'm sure I'm done simply because I've had enough of the stupid antics. Why couldn't some other Kinsella books get a sequel instead?
