The Good Enough Job: Reclaiming Life from Work by Simone Stolzoff

5.0

The storytelling style of this book really worked for me - it’s a thought provoking conversation on the role of work in our lives and society, and I found the way Stolzoff shared themes through personal stories really impactful - this kind of work can so easily verge off into quick fixes, at which I balk (more so, fair or not, from someone on the younger side). But this book didn’t do that at all. It surfaced themes and opened up space for me to reflect. It’s very well written and I really enjoyed reading it. I stumbled on Simone Stolzoff thanks to Oliver Burkeman’s Twitter feed, and I’m so glad I did.
