Far From You by Tess Sharpe

medium-paced

3.75

The main reason why I didn't go above 3.75 is that, although I enjoyed reading it and didn't expect the ending, I still feel like the mystery part was lacking a little bit. Of course, the mystery revolved around the main plot (who's the killer?), but it's not prominent. I feel the addiction part is prevalent in the story. As in, the emotional part is the main one, and mystery is the subplot. Therefore, I wouldn't go around and recommend it to mystery readers. I would however, recommend it to people who read more emotional books or any other genre, as this one could be a good initiation to mystery.

Also, I'm not saying it's bad, on the contrary! It's very interesting and you still want to know what happens next, or what happened in the past. You get attached to the characters. But from a mystery perspective, it's not optimal. To anyone planning on reading it, I enjoyed it and I'm sure you will too!
