When I first started this I thought the characters might rely on stereotypes too much in their development. However, as the story progressed, and especially in the second half I found the characters felt very real. This was a page turner and deeply upsetting and moving,

especially Isabelle’s fate.

Overall I really liked it and it has left me thinking about it.
