This is my all time favorite book. Katouh writing is beautiful down at telling this rich story. I fell in love with Salama and Kenan, being 18 myself I see so much of myself in Salama and what she went through is unimaginable to me. I dearly loved this book and will come back to it again. This book truly changed me in ways and opened my eyes to the Syrian conflict. 10/10
