I liked this and I liked the format of the diaries, but felt in some ways it was under-edited- it's the nature of the content. I also rolled my eyes at some of the "tough love" or funny comments about people's suffering- I acknowledge that's on me for reading something like this knowing how doctors are about those things. Go in with open eyes and know that there are some moments that will be teeth-grindingly cringe and that's just how doctors feel about people treated poorly by the medical establishment.
