I didn't like this one nearly as much as the first in the series. It was a lot harder for me to get through.
I'm trying to put my finger on exactly why I didn't like it as much, but it's tricky. It felt disjointed to me, like a series of things that happen but aren't connected very well.
Middle books are almost always my least favorite, though, so I am planning on finishing the series when the third comes out.
