The Quilter's Apprentice by Jennifer Chiaverini

4.0

This was an unexpected book. It didn't start out reading like a well written book, but the storytelling and plot won me over. The characters were a little weak and Sarah was a little annoying, but I liked how it showed a character doesn't have to be either picture perfect, nor a passionate mess to make a story interesting. Sarah was just a little bit average, and pretty flawed, yet the story was still interesting. And I liked that juxtaposition. I don't know if I can enjoy as many books about quilting as this author seems to have written, but I enjoyed this one.
