This book had me in a chokehold and feeling a wide range of emotions. Getting insight on Shannon and Johnny’s backstories and how that has contributed to who they are was heartbreakingly raw. Then, as the story progresses, seeing how they balance each other in the support they provide to one another throughout the circumstances they experience had my heart exploding. This book is precious and these characters will forever hold a place in my heart.
