At the Coffee Shop of Curiosities: A Novel by Heather Webber

3.0

If you’re looking for a whimsical story, look no further. This story is charming from start to finish. I’m ready to pack my bags and move to Driftwood, Alabama!

Ana receives a job posting in the mail and decides to take a leap of faith and apply. Maggie runs Driftwood’s coffee and curiosities shop. When Ana and Maggie cross paths they find a kindred spirit in one another. Both are haunted by moments from their past and they must learn to move on from those things if they want to find the place where they really belong.

I absolutely fell head in heels in love with this small coastal town and its residents. That’s the strength of the story for me. The plot felt a bit meandering for such a short book, but overall it truly captured the magical small-town charm.
