This is easily one of my favourite 5 star reads of the year!!
A Rivalry of Hearts is part of a spin-off series that can be read as a standalone, and this was my first Tessonja Odette book! Now I'm definitely going to read her other books because I adore this world she's built and the characters she's created!!
This book hit every mark for me!! The rivals-to-lovers romance was great and I love the seduction bet in addition to them both competing for the book contract! The bickering was so fun to read as well as Edwina and William's other interactions. *wink* *wink*
The character development was great and I enjoyed the push and pull of emotions each character went through. It made them more relatable and it gave immense insight on the character's backstories and current thought processes.
The worldbuilding was spectacular!! Again, this is my first Tessonja Odette book so this was my first time reading/visualising all the magical places the gang went to for their book tour. I felt like I was just like Edwina admiring all the sights and people!!
I was having such a good time reading, I didn't want the story to end!! There were so many parts in this book that kept me intrigued and kept me thinking about this book long after I finished it. I absolutely love and adored this book and Tessonja Odette has become an Instant Buy Author for me!!
