Flash and Bones by Kathy Reichs

2.0

I generally love the tightness of Reich's writing, but this book was just slow. Painfully so. Unlike the previous books in the series, Flash and Bones lacked the suspense that I've come to expect. In addition to suspense it was also very lacking in forensic science, and the characters that I have come to enjoy from the previous books.

The one thing the book does have a great deal of is dialogue, which, while well written, did nothing to speed up the reading.
