If I think about this not critically I would say it’s a fun time.
Stopping and thinking I have some issues. I don’t like the banter between her father. I don’t like the weird plot twist with her ex, I think being groomed is enough. The third act does boil down to miscommunication which I hate, like y’all were doing okay before what changed? The step mom had no right and if she wants to be mad at her for staying out of spite why not also direct that anger toward her father? Relationships take two people so they are both at fault.
