This book is amazing! Dr. Yuval Noah Harari takes a birds eye view on more than 100,000 years of human history and puts breakthroughs like the cognitive, agricultural and scientific revolutions into perspective. I have never seen those high-level narratives expressed so clearly. He draws the focus to the broader cultural and economic patterns; asks (and partially tries to answer) the very big questions of life. A must-read for everyone who seeks to understand the broader themes of our culture, history and psychology!
