Peril at End House: A Hercule Poirot Mystery
by Agatha Christie
“Evil never goes unpunished, Monsieur. But the punishment is sometimes secret.”When I think I can't be surprised by Agatha's writing anymore, the woman goes and proves me so so wrong! Again, I fell for her compelling and perfectly woven narrative and let it blind me and lead me where it wanted. The big reveal was not only a good and exciting plot twist but also proof of Christie's talent as a storyteller because she doesn't repeat her endings and always thinks of something to surprise her readers and pull them from their comfort zones. When you think you're getting the hang of her mysteries, she changes everything! I love love love love her books!
