Aftermath by Chuck Wendig
4.0

Picking up immediately after the Battle of Endor, this provides a panoramic view of events across the galactic empire, with rebels and imperials alike attempting to consolidate victories. Like Lucas' original stories intended, there's plenty of speculation on the nature of governments and political power that's relevant to our world. While not every character of import gets equally richly developed, and events do move quickly, this gets an extra star for the unabridged audio performance, which is a slam-bang affair with great voices, music and sound effects. It can get easy to lose track of the alien names and places, but the performance keeps what's important front and center as it races to a climax.
