Wayward Witch by Zoraida Córdova

4.0

Apparently it isn’t common to like the last book in a series more than any of the others, but I do. I kept reading the Brooklyn Brujas series because I love what Zoraida Cordova stands and writes for, and this series has all the ingredients for me to love it, but I was always kind of eh at the end of the books—no longer! Rose is my favorite, her story is my favorite, and I loved seeing the world, mythos, and Mortiz family expand. Maybe it’s a case of needing the last piece in the puzzle to see everything clearly, but I really enjoyed this series, it makes me happy.
