A Keeper by Graham Norton

3.0

I was really craving a palate-cleanser thriller recently. Enter: A Keeper! ⁣

I read this one over the course of the long weekend, and thought it was good not great. I liked that it was really fast-paced and that it was set in Ireland (give me all the books set in the Irish countryside!). ⁣

I thought it lacked creativity, though. I saw each of the twists coming from a mile away, and I always want to be a bit surprised when I am reading a thriller.⁣

All in all, I wouldn’t run to add this one to the top of your list (unless Irish mysteries are a priority!).
