This was such a lovely novel! I don't read a lot of Romance, but this one caught my eye. I loved the characters and the banter between January and Gus! I loved the deep, heavy conversations! This was such a funny novel too - I laughed out loud quite a bit! I was sometimes annoyed that assumptions would be made without first asking and having a conversation, but most of these assumptions were resolved quickly. I definitely wouldn't have responded to many things in this novel in the same way that January did so she was sometimes frustrating, but I like that she was a flawed character/presented different perspectives. While I was reading this, I was kind of reminded of New Girl - I don't particularly like this TV series so that was a bit unwelcome, but the novel as a whole is uniquely its own!
Overall, I truly enjoyed this novel (I stayed up very late reading it) and I am interested in reading more Romance like this!
