The Last Word by Taylor Adams

2.0

SpoilerAs someone who enjoys a good thriller, I had high hopes for "The Last Word" by Taylor Adams. However, those hopes quickly dwindled as I delved deeper into the story.

While the premise seemed intriguing—a group of strangers trapped in a remote cabin with a killer on the loose—the execution fell short of expectations. The plot felt contrived at times, with predictable twists that failed to deliver the intended suspense.

Additionally, I found it difficult to connect with the characters. Their actions often seemed illogical, and their motivations were poorly developed. As a result, I struggled to become emotionally invested in their fates.

Overall, "The Last Word" left me feeling underwhelmed. While it had the potential to be a gripping thriller, it ultimately fell flat due to lackluster storytelling and shallow characterization.
