The Autobiography of Mrs. Tom Thumb by Melanie Benjamin
3.0
This is a fictional autobiography. The voice seemed pretty authentic, though. I really enjoyed the glimpse into Barnum's world, even if it is a side-view. Overall, it was an interesting read, and I appreciated the author's perspective on the struggles (physical, mental, emotional, and social) of Lavinia Wood, a grown-woman under three feet tall who explored/traveled the world through the help of P.T. Barnum.
