5 stars for Hateful Heroes by Michelle Hercules. This is book three in the Gifted Academy series. OMG I really need the next book. This story and the characters have me on edge. I am hooked and need more. Daisy, Rufio, Bryce, Phoenix, and Morpheus have made their feelings for each other known. Now that Daisy is an Idol and figures out why everyone wants her, she has no idea who to trust. “Shit. She’s not only an Idol, she’s a high-level one, possibly more powerful than me.” We do learn more about each of the guys and more about Daisy’s lineage. We do get more characters brought into this book, some good, some bad, and some we don’t know yet. I really need the next book, like now. PLEASE. Daisy is going to face a lot, that is one thing I am for sure of. “You’re a warrior, dauntless, fierce. That is probably why we wanted so much to destroy you in the beginning. You upset the status quo. You challenged Us.”
