Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross

Ruthless Vows, though a solid sequel, didn't quite surpass the captivating allure of Divine Rivals for me. Throughout the book, I found myself longing for Iris and Roman, whose chemistry in the first book left a lasting impression. The introduction of Tobias did manage to fill a bit of that void, and I might have developed a slight crush on him. Nevertheless, the writing remains exceptional, and the well-crafted plot exceeded my expectations. Despite my preference for the first book, Ruthless Vows still stands as a commendable conclusion to the duology.
I’ll definitely recommend both books to everyone I know, hoping they'll love Iris and Roman as much as I did.
