In a prequel you know how it will end, but it is a compelling journey. Celaena seems to make the same mistakes again and again. So impulsive. But we love her passion and driver to protect the innocent. I loved getting to know the characters often mentioned the first 2 books - Sam and Arobynn. I wonder if Celaena’s will ever overcome her impulsiveness and naiveté. Will she get revenge on Farran or Arobynn? Her struggle drives the story, she really is an interesting character..
