triceratopper 's review for:
The Secret Adversary
by Agatha Christie
I wasn't very impressed with this book. I've read others by Agatha Christie, but this "mystery" was lackluster and unsatisfying. I think she tried to go too big with this one, involving the government and foreign relations (to a degree).
Tuppence and Tommy are interesting, spunky characters who have a lot of heart, and although I enjoyed their quick wit and the way their minds jumped to conclusions, the rest of it simply didn't grab me. I think I'll stick with Poroit for future Christie endeavors.
