This book was so hard to put down! It started with a bang and just kept picking up steam from there.

I loved the Native American lore, and the stories passed down, like through the aunt. The way the stories and the visions built the clues up, layer by layer, was wonderful. It really increased the suspense with every chapter.

I also saw myself in Kari's past, and her losses, which made me more invested in her story. The way she grew and changed with everything happening was great. The final reveal and confrontation came as a shock as well, even though the signs were there all along.

Overall it is a solid ghost story that is highly entertaining.
