Hope for the Flowers by Trina Paulus

2.0

A parable on ambition and finding one’s place in the world. Or perhaps about the way that the contemplative path is only reached through humility. “A tale partly about life - partly about revolution and lots about hope.” Some lovely ideas in here, and the simple drawings and colours are charming - but the messages are confused. Parable and allegory are hard to get to grips with, and perhaps this is over ambitious?
