I'm disappointed. The characters fell flat, the plot was so predictable it was unpredictable, and the pacing meandered. It felt like a Diana Urban book but worse, because at least her characters feel like real people, the flashbacks in her books matter, and her books are actually entertaining.

The red herring in this book was a better twist than the actual twist.
I never suspected Dallas' sister. But for the love interest to be the culprit? It's just so tired. And the culprit from the 1970s was so obvious I felt insulted.
