This is a lovely mid-grade story of a girl coming to age learning who she is and the she is capable of more than the box she grew up in.
Absolutely loved that the author didn't make a romance a main component of the story, and the MC was able to naturally grew and learn without having her wrapped up in a romantic relationship. The story is a reflective aspect of Alice in Wonderland tale place in a different setting and cultural elements. If also feels like the author managed to bring the story forward in a refreshing way to make it a more enjoyable and relatable tale.
