Another 5 star for the year  !!! I seen this book floating around last year but I wasn’t really interested. For my book club this year the pick was Yellow Wife and I was kind of hesitant because I had just read a slavery book (Homegoing) so I didn’t know what I was getting into. This was a good book. The chapters were short which I appreciated but I loved how we are so immersed into the story following Pheby as she navigate her life as it goes through its ups and downs. If you are thinking of reading this book I highly suggest the audiobook.
