This was a very easy, quick read and very enjoyable. I found myself rooting for both main characters hoping that their trials would be overcome and they would somehow right their worlds in the end. I enjoyed reading how the author developed each character's storyline and history separately and watching how they might and did combine. This is a perfect book for a cozy fall afternoon.
