At Close Range, Volume 11 by Laura Griffin
4.0
When I received this advanced copy from Netgalley, I did not realize that this was the 11th book in the Tracers Series. I have not read any of the other books in the series. But this did not matter, which I was glad to hear. I'm sure having read the other books, I'd have a better understanding of the back characters.
Dani is the local cop, that's been tapped to take the lead for the first time on an investigation.
Scott is a former Navy Seal that works for the Delphi Center, an expert in ballistics.
Dani & Scott have known each other for years. Best friends with Dani's older brother, Scott feels very protective of Dani. Thrown together to investigate a series of murder, their friendship and growing feelings will be tested.
I really enjoyed this book. I couldn't put it down. The storyline was very fascinating. I did not see the plot coming. Now I feel like I need to read the previous 10 books! Highly recommend this fast paced book!
