After waiting so long for this book, I didn't know what to expect. I could never have predicted where this book was going to go, which means it's probably good that i wasn't the author. I really liked the additional world building Adeyemi did. I feel a little at a loss with the ending. Did Zelie's transformation stick? Will they truly be able to bring a unified Orisha to long-term fruition? How does what happened affect the other lands? I was on the edge of my seat the whole time reading this, but I guess I was expecting a little more resolution than I personally felt like we got.
