Now What?: How to Move Forward When We're Divided by Beth Silvers, Sarah Stewart Holland

4.0

There's lots of practical information packed into this book that I felt I could've said myself. I've enjoyed reading from other people's perspectives on what they feel is necessary and usually the best way to handle the situation with several topics discussed in this book(politics, education, religion). We don't always realize how our words/attitudes/facial expressions can impact our friends, relatives and confidants. There's a very thin line between what is appropriate to discuss and what is not when it breaches the lines of manipulation, bullying, or ridicule. This book helped me to also realize that while we all will always not agree on everything it's best to not try and stick around those that make us feel what I mentioned in the previous sentence.
