Blind Faith by Rebecca Zanetti

I won a copy of this book via a FirstReads giveaway.

This is the third book in the "Sin Brothers" series. I have not read the other two and while the author does a great job of filling in some information from the previous books, I would suggest reading them in order.

Nate Dean is a genetically engineered soldier who, along with his brothers, escaped the commander years ago. Two of his brothers have found love and are trying to live a normal life while a third brother remains missing. All of the Dean brothers are under a deadline, though. They each have a "kill chip" embedded near their spine that is set to detonate within a few weeks time. In order to locate his missing brother and find the codes to disable the kill chips, Nate approaches his first love, Aubrey. Aubrey grew up knowing about Nate's military background and is all too familiar with how evil the commander is. She's covertly working with a U.S. senator in the hopes of shutting down the commander's experiments.

I really enjoyed the pace of this book and the author's writing. There was plenty of action and intrigue to keep me on the edge of my seat, but also plenty of romance between the main characters. I definitely plan to read more from this author and to read this series from the beginning.
