4.5

4.5 out of 5: Exes/rivals/ antagonists to more. The title chapters being book and literary references made my English major heart so happy. I loved Jasper's golden retriever energy and while there were some things he did were a little over the top, I would've loved to have a friend like him younger. I also related a lot to Charlie's anxious thoughts even if I am not in his exact situation. The feeling to want to help and take care of everything. Feeling the mistakes are your fault even though they may not be.

I loved the boarding school setting and the found family aspects that quickly began to form and shine through. The romance is a slow burn but there were so much that held my attention I didn't mind as I liked seeing the character growth and LGBT rep was everything.
