I liked The Mars House more, but this one was a banger too. The book isn’t sad, but I spent a lot of the time I was reading it wondering if I was gonna be sad about the ending. Spoiler: I wasn’t
Despite not having the hilarious scathing humor or incredibly detailed worldbuilding of the other work I’ve read by this author, the lovable characters and complex plot kept me happy and I’m absolutely gonna read the sequel.
