Crazy Stupid Bromance
by Lyssa Kay Adams
Let me say up front, I really enjoyed this book. It made me laugh - none of those men are like any men I know. Unfortunately. It made me cry with sadness & joy. It reminded my of my experience as a kidney donor. What I found most difficult to believe was the existing friendship between Noah & Alexi. Whether that's because such a close, non-sexual, relationship doesn't exist or whether I've just never seen or been part of one, I don't know, but it did keep distracting me. Noah was wonderful, though, completely supportive of Alexi & considerate of how her past might be affecting her present. Alexi was almost too perfect, empathetic to everyone, including the rude business owner across the street who kept insulting Alexi & trying to shut down her coffee shop. But even with these quibbles, I think this is my favourite of the Bromance series.
