i loved this :””” swooning at some parts lol this is the first romance book i’ve read in a while (thanks uncarley) & i might just start reading more of them now… the BANTER was delicioussss, the way neither of them ended up compromising or coming to terms w a future they didn’t want for themselves, because of love. it felt realistic, and raw, and simply what happens in the world — the characters are messy and flawed and so painfully human. to me, love isn’t about sacrificing parts of your identity to accommodate somebody else and i’m so glad this book had it as a focus

just certain points of writing had me :O bc it felt cliche… like how Charlie kept leaning forward & certain descriptions of eyes… but ok there rly is a limit to how many ways one can describe physical features LMAO so i won’t be nitpicky
