A fun, pulpy space opera starring the tenth doctor. Even though it's called Dalek Universe the Daleks are barely in this set and really, it's fine without them.
There's a few plot points that seem to stem from other stories - which I haven't listened to. I felt there was enough context to get the gist, but worth bearing in mind if such things bother you.
