I hate rating this book so low because i think the writing is beautiful and interesting. I also liked Nina but the plot felt dry and flat and that romance felt unnecessary and shoehorned. The fact that Matt was in love with her shocked me because how?? They never even spoke, and how did she fall for him so quickly, (in the course of a day!!) even though she knew he hated her.

It all felt a bit awkward, and contrived. now , I’m not concerned abt the fact that she cheated on her husband. I support women’s rights and women’s wrongs, however her actions felt unrealistic, nobody falls out of love with the husband of 7 years in a day, even if he is a piece if shit.

Even if we accept that she fell in love with him between the two mins in which he confessed to her and she realized it, immediately trying to have sex with him felt like pushing the boundaries of my suspension of disbelief. These things took me out of it I’m sorry.hence my low rating.
