Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

4.0

"An unhappy alteration is before you, Elizabeth. From this day you must be a stranger to one of your parents. Your mother will never see you again if you do not marry Mr. Collins, and I will never see you again if you do"

"Stupid men are the only ones worth knowing, after all."

"Nor am i ashamed of the feelings I related. They were natural and just."

"But I confess they would have no charms for me -- I should infinitely prefer a book"

"I am a selfish creature; and, for the sake of giving relief to my own feelings, care not how much I may be wounding yours"

The acknowledged lovers talked and laughed, the unacknowledged were silent"

The book was okay. Not saying it was bad but it took me two weeks to complete it. it was something off guard. Love the writing technique obviously. The only reason I read this is because so that if anybody inquires me reading any famous book I can name this one.
