"An unhappy alteration is before you, Elizabeth. From this day you must be a stranger to one of your parents. Your mother will never see you again if you do not marry Mr. Collins, and I will never see you again if you do"

The acknowledged lovers talked and laughed, the unacknowledged were silent"
The book was okay. Not saying it was bad but it took me two weeks to complete it. it was something off guard. Love the writing technique obviously. The only reason I read this is because so that if anybody inquires me reading any famous book I can name this one.
