Loved the diversity, culture, and the commentary about the troubles existing as a trans person. My only gripe was that I called the antagonist in their  first appearance as well as the method used. 

The story also drags a litter near the end and our protagonist becomes a little one note. Normally that would turn me off from a story but the pros vastly out weighed the cons. I found myself crying numerous times during my reading.
