"Galatea" is a retelling of Pygmalion, the story of a sculptor who falls in love with his work and brings it to life.

This version has more layers. Pygmalion could not find a perfect wife, so he decided to sculpt her and by the will of Venus, she became human.

While the myth revolves around the male vision of the beautiful and perfect wife, this story turns it around and focuses on Galatea, achieving a much more interesting look that shows us the characters with all their miseries.

It's only 20 pages and it conveys a lot. It's a highly recommended reading although it is necessary to take into account the warnings.

TW: sexual assault, toxic relationship, suicide.
