The Homewreckers harkens back to Hello Summer, where a mystery meets romance. The main character, Hattie, has had a hard go but her strong friendships are what have helped her get through it all. She risks it all to prove herself capable in her career, but she's not willing to risk too much of her heart. Then the discoveries begin, unraveling a 17 year old mystery and everyone's nerves. Although a tad slow at the start, the story picks up to become an enjoyable mystery with a love interest or two. Another Andrews summer read at its best. I recommend this book if you enjoy summer reads, mysteries, cozy romance, or women's lit in general. Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the ARC and opportunity to provide an honest review.
