Okay... that's it. Amo Jones' dedications reel me in and make we want to love this series. If these words lived up to the actual story, I would re-read over and over and over again!

But once again, it just fell...flat.
All of the issues that I had with The Silver Swan weren't resolved. And once again, I felt like I had whiplash with how quickly our heroine changed her tune. This time she went from vengeance seeking to bleeding heart! I mean I understand she is supposed to be naive because of her age, but holy fuck! You cannot promise me revenge and then not even give me so much as a failed attempt at it! Major fail on the authors part to add some depth to this.
The only reason that I will be reading the next book is solely to get answers. But I will note.. I'm getting really irritated that we're on book two and I have very little understanding of the Elite Kings and what the hell they even do...
