It’s still a complicated mess in my mind. It was weird and I was creeped out, but not in a way that would’ve compelled me to put the book down. Unexpectedly, I was more drawn to the characters as compared to the plot. It might have taken some time before I was pulled in to the story, but I felt like I was really there with the characters and I adored every single one of them (except for one).
