This Vicious Grace definitely started out slow to me. I kept waiting for action and it didn’t really come until Alessa met Dante and their relationship began. Overall this wasn’t a terrible book but the pacing drove me nuts. I didn’t know this was going to be a series so I’m slightly disappointed at how this book ended. I felt that the last battle was good and Dante coming back from the dead was good but tacking on at the end that there is more to come was lame. Maybe the sequel will make the ending make sense but I’m not sure that there needed to be a sequel. Overall this book was okay. I was curious to read it because a bookseller recommended it to me. Also it was Barnes & Noble’s YA Book Club pick.
