Tying the Scot
by Jennifer Trethewey
The great thing about this book was that the misunderstanding at the beginning was so realistic! He’s got his ‘brilliant’ plan, but fails to see it from her POV. That being said, Lucy’s reaction to it was extreme.
Lucy is very unlikable. She’s extremely childish, spoiled, and immature. The entire time I just couldn’t understand or cheer for her actions.
Alex is more likable. He has his faults, but he’s at least not as ridiculous as Lucy.
There is a bit of an actual storyline, but it’s one of those issues where it could’ve easily been solved if the two characters actually had an intelligent conversation for once.
